TruTouch Therapy

Sandy Wittynek was drawn to a different level of communication with horses over the years. In 1992 her interest was piqued in horse therapy and how the horses seemed to be conversing with her as to what was hurting and their urging for her to help them out

Sandy is continually learning and updating her 'tool bag' throughout the years acquiring several certifications including

Specialized Kinesiology, Touch for Health, Berry's Body Management, Human Iridology, Equine Iridology, BioEnergy Analysis, Equine Acupressure

Sandy's TruTouch Therapy is performed by locating weaknesses by muscle testing then determining the proper strengthening technique to be used. Muscle manipulation allowing structural adjustment, energy balance through acupressure, nutritional issues dealing from the inside-out and light therapy are a few of the tools used as a part of Sandy's treatments.

Horses are Sandy's passion, but she has many human clients that she is continually called up to help balance their bodies as well. Dogs are also a major part the W4 Therapy program. Other animals that have benefitted from TruTouch Therapy include cats, elk, buffalo, rabbits, pot bellied pig, fallow deer and sheep.

Treatments are performed at the home location but as a unique service 'Travelling Therapy' is available as Sandy & Barry travel throughout the western provinces to accommodate their numerous clients. Wherever there is a horse in need of Sandy's helping hands - she is determined to fulfill that need!

AWARENESS

Awareness is key to what Sandy tries to promote to horse owners and riders. Confirmation and temperament play a role in any imbalance but more information is needed to understand where the weaknesses lie. Taking that "one step back" attitude and surveying the entire picture Compensating and many other factors have to be taken in account to get the 'whole picture'. Various techniques can be used to strengthen the weaknesses to provide total balance. Not only is it important for the horse to be balanced, riders must achieve the same true balance in order for the partnership to work synergistically.

MAINTENANCE

Sandy stresses the importance maintenance. Remember your horse does not have to be visually lame to be experiencing imbalances. TruTouch Therapy Sessions will vary from horse to horse but with all treatments, Sandy will check from one end to the other to deal with all compensating factors in order to get to the root of the problem.

Any clients of W4 that have their horses on a maintenance schedule seldom have any major down-time. By having regular treatments and catching the small imbalances before anything major shows up. horses will be able to perform to their peak at all times.
