W4 Equine & Canine Centre is owned and operated by Sandy & Barry Wittynek and family. Their home-based facility is located just east of Camrose, AB. The multi-faceted business encompasses:
Sandy Wittynek, creator of TruTouch Therapy, has combined her 16 years of training and 'hands on' experience to enable thousands of horses, people and other animals to become healthier, happier and balanced.
Sandy Wittynek's relationship with horses began when she was very young girl. She grew up playing and riding with horses on a daily basis. Through her teen years she continued riding, training and showing on the Arabian Horse Circuit. With many achievements to her credit, Sandy's unique communication with horses was quite evident.
After her marriage to Barry and the arrival of their two daughters, Jennifer and Kelsey, Sandy was thrilled to have both daughters share with the family's love of horses. The focus then shifted to help the girls develop their horsemanship skills. After beginning in the show ring, both Jenn & Kelsey thrived on the speed events and the family has participated in barrel racing and gymkhana events ever since.
The Wittyneks are actively training young horses and preparing them for competition at the Futurity and Derby Events as well as participating in the Alberta Barrel Racing Association, rodeos and other barrel racing competitions.
